Paul Halliday

Paul Halliday has had 50 years of success in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.

His Story

From 1989 to 1996, he was Vice President, Marketing, and Institutional Development, for Sir Sandford Fleming College, responsible for strategic planning, marketing, external relations, international development, and institutional advancement.  He had previously held various management positions at Humber College.

From 1997 to 2016, he was President of Nash Crossing Inc., a management company through which he and his wife owned and operated Bulk Barn stores in Clarington and Oshawa. 

He began his career in publishing with Prentice-Hall.  He also spent several years as President of Halliday & Halliday Inc., a services marketing firm in Toronto.

Over the years, Paul has served as a volunteer on numerous boards and task forces.  He was President of the West Metro Skills Training Council; Executive Committee, United Way of Peterborough and District; President of the Clarington Board of Trade; Chair of the Clarington Higher Education Task Force; board member, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Clarington and President of Probus Clarington. Now largely retired, Paul is a volunteer with the Clarington Board of Trade and Probus Clarington.
